After Work, 10th of February
Welcome to MHBC After Work at Ideon Agora, friday 10th of February at 4.30 pm.
All old and new friends are welcome to meet with us and hear about the "new" MHBC. There are new, sharper criteria for membership, and new ways of using our network if you don't meet the criteria for membership but still want to be part of the community.
As always, the after work begins after the Power Hour, which will be hosted by the MHBC team of course but also Joakim Nelson, Björn Ekelund, Carl-Johan Weiderstrand and Sven Mattisson.

L0v3 y0uR Sk1LL! Geek Girl unconference 19 nov
Nu är det äntligen dags för Geek Girl un-conference i Malmö! Genom mingel, nätverkande och kunskapsutbyte diskuterar vi passion för webb, programmering, sociala medier, design och entreprenörskap.
Temat för årets event är L0v3 y0uR Sk1LL! Det är en hyllning till all inneboende kunskap som vi, var och en, och tillsammans besitter och den kärlek som finns i viljan att dela med oss av den!
Eventet äger rum på stapln den 19 november och blir en dag fylld med intressanta talare, bland annat Marianne Larsson från Mobile Heights Business Center, workshops och överraskningar! Syftet är att träffa och nätverka med coola geek tjejer och frossa i mingel och kunskapsutbyte - helt enkelt att ha en GRYM dag tillsammans!

MHBC after work friday Oct 21st
All members are welcome to the after work event at 16:30, Oct 21st, at MHBC head quarter, Ideon Agora in Lund. Joakim Nelson will discuss the challenging unpredictability in the telecom business, for example in relation to platform strategies, cloud and 4g. Tomas Bennich from Sweden Mobile Association will visit us and collect information before travelling to Silicon Valley in the end of October to promote all great startups, as will Mobile Heights ceo Ulrika Linnér and MHBC director Marianne Larsson. Come meet us all and let us know how you are proceeding with your businesses!
Open House at Mobile Heights Business Center
Friday October 7th we've arranged an "open house" for all of you who are interested in what we can offer you and your company. Between 0900 and 1500 there will be business advisors, screening staff and entrepreneurs in place, to answer your questions and testify to the support that we provide.

Mobile Heights cluster event Attract for new members
As a company member (established industry, not startups) of Mobile Heights you will influence and benefit from activities with the long term objective to establish Mobile Heights as one of the most effective open innovation arenas for products and services addressing mobile behaviour. You will be a part of a versatile organisation together with representatives from the mobile and ICT industries, the related academy and the public sector.

MHBC AdVenture Day
Thanks to you who joined us 10th of November at this fall’s Mobile Heights Business Center pitch day.
We had a great time listening to our speakers; Carl Silbersky from Polar Rose and Susanne Ahlström from SVCA. We had the pleasure to host a delegation from Näringsdepartementet and present to them how Teknopol AB and MHBC find new ways of initiating and accelerating spinouts by cooperation between the innovation system and the established industry. And last but not least, we got to see known and new telecom ventures pitch for partners - Verifyter, SignPay, Qubulus, AdvantiQ, Seed, Malvacom and Zaplox.
This event took place at Telia Sonera in Malmö Sweden, thanks to our host Johan Wickman.

Almedalsveckan
YES we were there! Many meetings took place where we discussed how we can be of assistance to businesses with more ideas and needs that they can handle... Marianne Larsson was one of the speakers at Innovationsbrons discussions for growth
Tuesday, 6th of July from 7.30 am - 12.15 pm at Högskolan, Cramérgatan 3, "Studentcentrum", torget. You can see the filmed presentations at innovationsbron.se
We certainly followed the Minc/On presentation of smashing ideas to Gotlands industries in the Gotlands Inkubator (Science Park Gotland, Strandgatan 1) garden at 4 pm - 6 pm, led by Jonas Klevhag. Six of a hundred ideas were presented to Pigge Werkelin, Gotlandsflyg, and Cecilia Schelin-Seidegård, ideas to increase the number of passengers on the Gotlandsflyg flights, ideas worth SEK 25 million.

MHBC Investment Day
March 12th we had 35 investors visiting our MHBC Investment Day at Telia Sonera in Malmoe, Sweden with presentations from telecom related start-ups. After listening to business columnist Thomas Frostberg, SVCA's analyzer Linus Dahg, and Johan Wickman Head of Research and Innovation at Telia Sonera, 11 startups presented their business cases to the audience.
